The first ever collaboration from Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber, ‘Stuck with U’, is out now
The first ever collaboration from Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber is out now, ‘Stuck with U’ was released today in aid of First Responders Children’s Foundation.
The song touts the virtues of appreciating being able to spend time with those you love, particularly during this time of quarantine. “Go ahead and drive me insane. Baby run your mouth,” Grande and Bieber sing on the chorus. “I still wouldn’t change being stuck with you.”
Bieber described the tune as a “the prom song for everyone who can’t go to prom now.” Last week, he put out a call for fans who will be missing their prom to tweet him videos of themselves in what they would have worn, dancing to an instrumental portion of the tune. In the clip, fans are seen in prom dresses, dancing with one another, holding signs and working on the frontlines of the pandemic.
Ariana wrote on her Instagram as she shared the song “I can’t fully articulate ……… howwwww happy i am that we waited this long to do this (the duet thing). this moment really means so much more than it ever could have if it had happened any other way or if it had been any other song. being able to lend our voices to this project and collaborating on this has been so fulfilling and i really just love this song so much. grateful to be doing this with my friend and also just wanted to express an enormous thank u to all of the brilliant creatives who worked on this song…”
In response to the COVID-19 crisis and to help further bolster relief efforts, all net proceeds from the streams and sales of ‘Stuck with U’ will be donated to First Responders Children’s Foundation to fund grants and scholarships for children of healthcare workers, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, police officers and firefighters serving at the front lines during the global pandemic.
There’s some major cameos in the video too, including Bieber’s wife Hailey, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Demi Lovato, Gwyneth Paltrow, Chance the Rapper, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West, Michael Bublé, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunisand Jaden Smith — all dancing along to the waltz like track. Fans featured in the video are first responder families and frontline medical workers from Los Angeles area hospitals.
The video also included a very special cameo – Grande’s new boyfriend Dalton Gomez. Plus there’s scenes of being at home with the Biebers, the video features Justin and Hailey dancing around their kitchen and going for a stroll near their home.
