ALL POINTS EAST ADDS OVER FIFTY NAMES FOR BOTH WEEKENDSBOTH WEEKENDS

All Points East returns for a stellar second year to Tower Hamlet’s Victoria Park, following a sold-out 2018 debut that established a new and essential music event in central London. Today, All Points East continues to expand with the announcement of three stages, featuring an array of cutting-edge acts at the forefront of their scenes.

Jägermeister’s JägerHaus stage will combine Bauhaus-inspired décor with a mix of established and emerging artists from a blend of genres. Headline acts announced so far include acclaimed, trailblazing songwriter Gruff Rhys, a rare live set from Gold Panda, one of the most inventive and exciting electronic acts around; Bill Ryder-Jones, who released one of 2018’s most acclaimed albums via illustrious imprint Domino Records; Romare, who will light up the Haus with a thrilling live set of leftfield electronic grooves; plus tropical pop from reggae royalty Hollie Cook. Top bands including Fat White Family and The Vaccines will also be playing DJ sets across the two weekends, with the stage also featuring performances from Gwenno, Cassia, Gabe Gurnsey and more.

Firestone will be hosting a stage showcasing some of the best upcoming talent around. Headlining it on Friday 24th May will be German rapper Kelvyn Colt, who dropped out of law school to follow his musical ambitions, and crafts songs filled with compassion and emotion. London-based band Balcony will bring their shimmering, synth-heavy pop to the headline slot the day after on Saturday 25th. On Sunday 26th, West London rapper Lava La Rue will close the first weekend of the Firestone stage with her lo-fi sound and reflective flow. Other names across the weekend include: Yota, Kaiit, Lou Doillon, John Nicholas, Valeras, Naked Elephant, Vista Kicks, Louis VI and Alice D.

The Rayban Studios X Stage will have different guest hosts across the festival’s first weekend, with each bringing their own unique musical flavour. On Friday 24th May Peggy Gou will host and perform, with Optimo, Josey Rebelle, Maurice Fulton, DMX Krew (live) and Ge-ology also playing sets. On Saturday 25th Yala! Records, set up by The Maccabees musician Felix White, will curate an indie-leaning line-up including BC Camplight, Yak, Our Girl, Willie J Healey, Feet and Egyptian Blue. On Sunday 26th, Moxie will host a day of no-nonsense electronica with DJs and producers Joy Orbison, Andrew Weatherall, Octo Octa, Galcher Lustwerk and Paquita Gordon.

East London’s beautiful Victoria Park in Tower Hamlets also hosted a hugely popular 4-day community focused midweek event last year. Kicking off on the second Bank Holiday Monday, In The Neighbourhood is set to return across the half term week for 2019. Featuring free access to the All Points East site, In The Neighbourhood will host a vibrant programme of activities and entertainment, in collaboration with the local community, businesses, organisations and suppliers. From free Outdoor Cinema, Live Music and Entertainment, Street Food to Pop Up Bars, Theatre, Arts, Sports & Wellbeing, Children’s Activities and much more.
