MelodyVR is pleased to announce three brand new exciting artists joining their virtual reality music platform, further expanding their already broad range of artists on offer. American alternative rock band Pixies, the London Symphony Orchestra and British songwriter Jacob Banks will be all available to experience in VR for the very first time from today (22nd Nov).
Filmed at their acclaimed BlueDot Festival headline show in 2017, Pixies fans across the globe now have the chance to relive the magic of that night, on stage, behind the drum kit or in the crowd, with the legendary rockers performing their hit singles, Where Is My Mind?, Here Comes My Mind, and Debaser.
Audiences can now experience the Barbican Hall in a completely different light, with a special performance by the London Symphony Orchestra. Filmed during their celebratory Steve Reich at 80 concert with Kristjan Järvi, which combined a performance from Principal Guest Conductor Gianandrea Noseda and Principal Trumpet Philip Cobb.
Becky Lees, Head of LSO Live said: ‘From the Orchestra’s beginnings in 1904 to the launch of LSO Live at the turn of the millennium, the LSO has always had a pioneering attitude, and we’re truly delighted to be launching this concert with kindred spirits MelodyVR’.
Filmed at 02 Kentish Town Forum, emerging British star Jacob Banks is set to re-energize soul music as he fills venues with his commanding voice and topical songwriting, on a tour that was extended due to huge popular demand. Now fans can experience from the comfort of their own home on MelodyVR.
