Lhouette's new exhibition, 'Post Urban Glamour' launches February 2017
Lhouette’s visually arresting and anarchic artworks have been attracting attention worldwide, leading the way in a new wave of young British artists. His trademark fusion of gritty street art with Warhol-esque pop culture iconography is a concept he describes as “Post Urban Glamour” – a striking juxtaposition between the old and new, the raw and the refined. Using forklift pallets and other industrial throw-offs as his canvases, he builds up his artworks step by step, layering beautiful subject matter and lavish finishing techniques.
His upcoming exhibition ‘Post Urban Glamour’ at 45 Park Lane is set to be a visual explosion of works, themes and ideas from over the last 5 years of his practice.
The exhibition will run from February 1– March 26, 2017.
