Outside has a long and illustrious history in the world of sports. We’ve been associated with some of the biggest names in the world of sport and played a crucial part in the development of many sports men and women’s brands.
Most famously we spent seven years at Outside developing the world-beating ‘Brand Beckham’. We represented David from the very early days of his career advising and guiding him through the press furore that followed his sending off in the World Cup against Argentina, through to his part in the spectacular Manchester United Champions League final victory against Munich on that spring evening in Barcelona, right the way through to the final phase of his career at Old Trafford and the well-publicised run in’s with manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Outside has also represented Chelsea player Mario Melchiot, Arsenal and Sweden star Freddie Ljungberg, AC Milan's Clarence Seedorf and at least one Cole! We helped oversee Freddie Llungerg's move to the US when he joined Seattle Sounders. In fact our association with football goes right the way back to the 1980s when we looked after England and Spurs captain, Steve Perryman and England centre-half, Steve Forster.
Outside has been active in many other areas of sport ranging from the spectacular WWE to International Cricket, Golf and Athletics. We have looked after England Cricketer Kevin Pietersen and represented the sport of athletics on behalf of Channel Four. Furthermore we helped engineer Nick Faldo’s return to favour culminating in a wonderfully received return to Open Golf at St Andrews.
Outside has had some notable success in the field of Motorsport. For two years we helped build Jenson Button’s image in Formula One. And we also represented the World Champion and now sadly deceased rally driver, Richard Burns.
We were also involved in the early days of former British heavyweight championship Lennox Lewis’s career even going so far as to take him to the Brits one year.
We’ve got a highly motivated and enthusiastic sports PR team at Outside. We are experts at managing sports reputations and enhancing brand possibilities off the back of sporting excellence.
