With our experience, our unrivalled network and our smart thinking, we find stories which build positive exposure for our clients, whether it be the news or business pages of the consumer press as well as trade titles.
From start-ups to major entertainment companies, we are adept at working on strategies to raise profiles, push into new areas, build awareness of rebrands or keep companies at the forefront of the public’s imagination. Conversely, on those occasions where our clients would prefer not to be in the public eye, we provide the expertise to make the right judgments.
JEREMY JAUNCEY/BEAUTIFUL DESTINATIONS
Entrepreneur and investor Jeremy Jauncey, launched his Instagram account Beautiful Destinations in 2012. Since it’s launch, Jeremy has worked with tourist boards, airlines and hotel chains to promote their properties and locations on this account. Through the success of sharing travel inspired imagery, Jeremy has created similar Instagram channels such as Beautiful Hotels, Cuisine, Menswear and Matters. All five channels have a collective following of over 10 million to date. With Jeremy’s personality and online influencer status, Outside are expanding his brand through a more tradition route with elements such as print and television. This will build on Jeremy’s profile as a personally and will showcase his unique talent and business skills.
A live promotion company behind shows by artists such as Wet Wet Wet and UB40, we launched one of their biggest events – the solo headline performances by Ed Sheeran at Wembley Stadium – with a splash. In addition to placing press stories about the company we have secured coverage on Sky News Business. We often try to apply a journalistic eye to develop stories we believe may appeal to the media and with Kilimanjaro we developed a story for national press coverage about the popular live shows the company promotes featuring YouTube stars with sizeable followings.
We are establishing the airport not only as an international travel hub but as a major musical stage with the new initiative musicDXB. The airport is hosting pop-up gigs and taking on a new role as a patron of the arts. We have worked with business pages to draw attention, as well as using CEO Paul Griffiths’ musical background to illustrate and humanise the development, and we have spread the word further by bringing on board tabloids who covered the booking of Katy Perry for an invite-only corporate dinner.
Working with the global entertainment company, our work has seen us rebrand the long-established Wembley Arena as the SSE Arena to reflect the name of its new sponsor. In addition to trade announcements we generated interest by setting up national newspaper features giving a behind-the-scenes taste of a major music venue, placed profiles of staff in careers/jobs pages and put in groundwork by facilitating visits by key journalists and opinion-formers to ensure the venue had the appropriate references.
Service Prosecuting Authority (SPA)
The military equivalent of the better-known Crown Prosecution Service, we have developed the authority’s media relations functions by establishing workable systems. In addition to proactively publicising the results of some important cases, we have put in place crisis management plans and provided day-to-day advice and support about how stories may develop. We have also worked to raise general awareness by engineering meetings between the SPA and key journalists.
