BRITNEY SPEARS ANNOUNCES HER BRAND NEW SINGLE ‘CRIMINAL’; FOCUS DATE NOVEMBER 21ST
Britney Spears has announced that the next single from her platinum selling seventh studio album, ‘Femme Fatale’ is the fan favourite ‘Criminal’. Fans voted for the song on the superstar’s Facebook page.
‘Criminal’ was written and produced by Max Martin, who wrote Britney’s debut smash hit single ‘Baby, one More Time,’ and is a slower tempo track which incorporates a flute riff and a killer melodic chorus.
Spears recently filmed the video for the song on the streets of London while she was in the UK to launch the European leg of her ‘Femme Fatale’ tour.
The video shows Spears and boyfriend Jason Trawick in a Bonnie and Clyde-style set-up, holding shops up while on the run as armed robbers.
The “Femme Fatale Tour’ will hit the UK on October 27th when she plays one of 3 London dates at the O2 arena. She then plays arenas in Manchester, Birmingham and Newcastle.

5th August 2011 – Pop music trendsetter Britney Spears, who has continually captivated crowds around the world with her live music events, today confirms that Joe Jonas will support her from 16th-31st October on her European Femme Fatale Tour. The announcement follows the news that he will be performing at one of Britney’s show in East Rutherford, New Jersey this evening.
Jonas will be touring to support the release of his forthcoming solo debut album, FastLife. The album’s lead single, “See No More,” was released in June and earned rave reviews. It was also just nominated for a Teen Choice award while the video for the song has racked up nearly 5 million views on YouTube and VEVO.

Britney goes Bollywood!
Britney Spears has announced through website Desi Hits! (www.desihits.com) that she has invited international singing sensation Sonu Nigam to add his vocals to her latest track ‘I Wanna Go’. The track was produced by DJ Lloyd, who most recently worked with ex Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.
Britney said: “I’m so excited about having Sonu on ‘I Wanna Go’. His vocals add such a different feel, which I love! Watch out Bollywood – it’s Britney and Sonu!“
With his magical Hindi vocals, Sonu mirrors Britney’s vocals throughout the club track, combined with fused Indian instrumentals that add a unique and different vibe. Occasionally Sonu sings in English, and adds some of his own songwriting skills to the track, bringing it closer to his Indian audiences.
Since 2003, Spears has maintained an authentic connection with her Indian audience, and working with Sonu has definitely taken this to the next level. Her album In The Zone included an Indian remix of ‘Me Against The Music,’ featuring Madonna. Taking it a step further, she performed the remix throughout her Onyx Hotel Tour and during her Circus Tour. Audiences may even get to see Sonu and Britney perform this track together soon.
